I wanted to join the Urban Sketchers Annual Symposium since I join the New York Urban Sketchers. This year, I managed my vacation time to go few days.
Start my vacation with a wine at JFK.
Watching "Isle of Dogs" on the airplane
Picking up my "I am Amsterdam" Card at the at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.
I choose 120 Hour City Card for free public transport and Museums.
Ride Nederland Sespoorwegen to the city. Very clean and quiet.
of course, I got lost...
but I found my way to Amsterdam Central Station
I find a cute café close to the first Urban Sketchers' location online.

I couldn't find the right hotel close to downtown because this trip was last minutes decision...
But this hotel was end-up to great choice. The hotel's room was big and clean,
serves great breakfast and great service.
Also, I realized the downtown has too many casinos, bar and marijuana cafés, so staying downtown could be very noisy.

menu changes every day
The restaurant serves fixed menus (lunch 3 or 4 dishes, dinner 5 0r 6 dishes). There is no à la carte.
