先週末の日曜日にフィラデルフィア美術館のアメリカの水彩画展日帰り旅行をしに行きました。

I had a day trip to see the Exhibit "American Watercolor in the Age of Homer and Sargent" at the Philadelphia Museum of Art last Sunday.

Central Park Sketching & Artの10周年記念のスケッチパーティーがありました。みんなでスケッチする物を持ち寄り、デッサンです。

I went to the Central Park Sketching & Art 10th Anniversary. Each of us brought objects to draw and sketched at the Manhattan Ballroom.

ブルックリン美術館でスケッチ - Sketch the Brooklyn Museum with NYC Urban Sketchers

週末にNYC Urban Sketchersのグループでブルックリン美術館に行きました。
この美術館は、プロスペクトパーク、ブルックリン植物園と隣接しており、
週末には、たくさんの人で賑わいます。

I attended sketching event with New York Urban Sketchers last weekend at the Brooklyn Museum. A lot of people are enjoying weekend here at museum and the Prospect Park and Brooklyn Botanical Garden Next to it.

A beautiful blue beads art installation at the entrance hall.

Entry Pavilion was designed by James S. Polshek, Design Partner and added to the museum 2004.

この美しいガラスのパビリオンは、2004 年に建築されました。

After finished sketching all day, we gather at the near by cocktail lounge, Tooker Alley.

1日のスケッチが終わり、近くのカクテルラウンジで集いました。

国際現代美術展 The Armory Show 2017

2017 年国際現代美術展がマンハッタンのミッドタウン・ウエストのハドソン川沿いにあるPire94で行われました。

The Armory Show 2017 was held at Pier 94 at midtown west of Manhattan. I had chance to visit there on the last day of the event and saw many important artworks from current art scene and past master pieces.
